miscellaneous: I am fluent in Spanish and like to play piano, am the oldest in a family of five girls, and am from the San Diego area. I am excited to teach composition here at Cal Poly after attending this great university for both my undergraduate and graduate degrees. Writing is an invaluable skill and language is powerful - being able to teach this to students is nothing short of a joy. Aside from teaching, I work with children with autism and other developmental disabilities, enjoy reading and cooking, and love to take advantage of the many hiking and walking trails here on the central coast on my weekends.
