Blended Program Application

To apply to the Blended Program in English, please complete all fields below and click Submit.

Please note that this application is intended for students in their second or third year of coursework (with Sophomore or Junior standing) at Cal Poly. Fourth-year students are not eligible to apply, but are encouraged to consider applying to the stand-alone Master of Arts in English.

In addition to completing this application, two faculty members must submit letters of recommendation on your behalf; at least one of these must be from a faculty member in the English Department. Recommenders will need to submit their letters directly to Ryan Anthony Hatch, Director of Graduate Studies, as pdf files (rahatch@calpoly.edu).

All application materials will be due by 11:59 p.m. on Saturday, April1, 2023. Admissions decisions made in consultation with members of the Graduate Program Committee, will be announced in May.
