Faculty Monthly Kudos, February 2014

Please join me in congratulating our colleagues on these accomplishments!

Kevin Clark's poem "Marie Cavanaugh Learns the Art of the Bustle" appears in the current issue of The Antioch Review. Additionally, two earlier poems ("Le Secret" and "Sixties Noir") are reprinted in the anthology On Human Flourishing. In November Kevin taught and gave a reading at the Sanibel Island Writers Conference, and on February 12 he will serve as a judge in the SLO County Poets Out Loud competition.

John Hampsey's book Kaufman's Hill has been published! John gave a terrific standing-room-only reading on Saturday evening, and is scheduled for over thirty other readings across the country in the upcoming months. Additionally, he has been selected as the CSU Bakersfield Stiern Library PG&E Writer in Residence for 2015.

Larry Inchausti has been invited to serve as a keynote speaker at the 100th Anniversary International Thomas Merton conference in Rio de Janeiro next October.

David Kann's 4-part poem "The Language of the Farm" has been accepted in Blue Lyra Review

Congratulations to all!
