Be an enthusiastic team player who is willing to take on any task given to you/be proactive. Your ability to write, speak, and communicate well will do wonders within your internal team, as well as with the Client.

Is there anything you'd like to personally add about how you found your way to your current career since graduating from Cal Poly as an English major?  Any memorable epiphanies that marked major turning points on which path you chose?

I served on the Cal Poly Foundation Board, amidst many other boards, while at Cal Poly, so I gained a core group of mentors.  One of my mentors specifically knew the President of Voce, and was able to land me an interview there, which was my first one during my senior year, and everything was history!  Before my senior year as ASI President, I was highly contemplating going to law school, but due to a lot of corporate exposure, I felt a calling to dive into the work world while I was fresh out of school to gain some experience, enhance and define my skill set, and expand my network.
