What advice would you give to someone interested in your profession?

More professional breadth and less depth; i like to think of myself as a "generalist" who manages programs, people, resources, and finances; i do not micro-manage and allow those with more "depth" in a field, such as a program manager, accountant, or study abroad advisor, to do their jobs
